Director and Cinematographer
Elí Espinoza is a Latinx artist from Chicago who believes there is no greater beauty than filmmaking. Inspired by folktales passed down from generations of storytellers, she hopes her stories find a way to connect multitudes of people by seeing past their reality and finding their emotion. She believes in finding the beauty in an individual’s personal fears, and that sometimes the easiest way to connect to a story is by reading a fantasy.
